Name
Main Stage: Shaping Public Will: The New Playbook for Clean Energy Leadership
Date
Wednesday, November 18, 2026
Time
12:00 PM - 12:45 PM
Description
In just two decades, clean energy has transitioned from being an alternative energy option to the dominant source of new power. Due to this rapid growth, the industry must consider running dynamic messaging campaigns that build durable support on the ground among the wider public. Many Americans still view clean energy as expensive, unsafe, and low-tech. Widespread misinformation and U.S. federal policy challenges have created new roadblocks to legislators’ and community acceptance. During this session, expert communicators will discuss how industry leaders, communicators, and think tanks can go beyond reactive messaging to build long-term strategies that secure clean energy's political power for the future.
