Description
Texas has been a leader US leader in the addition of solar, storage, and wind to the grid. It's more important than ever to ensure that reliability and cybersecurity are at the heart of growth of renewable energy in Texas. In this session, we will review how ERCOT is developing strategies, technologies, and other solutions to accommodate higher quantities of solar and storage. We will also dive into emerging cybersecurity threats to the electric sector, what ERCOT is doing to protect against cyberattacks, policy and regulatory developments in Texas, and cybersecurity best practices as solar and storage continue to grow in the state.
