Emily Burlinghaus is the director of energy storage manufacturing and supply chain at the Solar Energy Industries Association, where she manages the organization’s battery-relevant supply chain and trade policy work. She has a background in energy policy and has served in the Biden-Harris Administration as a senior climate advisor at the Department of Defense; a German Chancellor Fellow researching battery supply chain policy in Germany; and an assistant director at the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center in Washington, DC.
