As Vice President of Technical Services, Evelyn leads SEIA’s technical initiatives and programs that facilitate the industry’s continued growth and mitigate risks for the industry. Her team represents the solar and energy storage industry in U.S. building, fire, structural and energy codes and on solar and storage equipment product and installation standards committees. SEIA is an ANSI-accredited standards developer currently working on standards for operations and maintenance training, installation and training standards for distributed generation and utility-scale solar, a traceability standard for procurement transparency, and decommissioning, recycling and end-of-performance management of equipment that increase consistency, safety, quality and professionalism in the industry.
Her team’s sustainability efforts ensure standards and guidance help build responsible supply chains and sustainable end-of-life strategies. SEIA operates the first national PV recycling partner program with a dozen recycling partners in 20 states. She is a member of the technical advisory committee for the SERI R2 standard that manages the international requirements for PV recyclers and the recycling process.
Her education background is in business development, organizational leadership and management, and sustainability from the University of California at Berkeley, and Yale University and Stanford University professional programs.
