Kebab aur Sharab (247 West 72nd Street, New York, NY) is a vibrant Indian restaurant by acclaimed restaurateur Salil Mehta, celebrating the rich culinary traditions of India, from the smoky kebabs of Punjab to the coastal spices of Kerala. Kebab aur Sharab’s menu features nostalgic street food favorites, rare and hard-to-find regional specialties, and breads baked in a custom tandoor, including the elusive handkerchief-thin rumali roti. Salil Mehta is the visionary chef and owner behind some of New York City's most celebrated dining establishments, including Laut, Kebab aur Sharab and Kanyakumari. Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Mehta's early passion for food was shaped by the rich flavors, techniques, and ingredients of Southeast Asian cuisine.
